There is something about that one person who knows every secret and every joke that
makes them a best friend. It's a balance between give and take that makes the relationship work
and makes one person so special during high school. Come the end of the four year term, it's
always nice to look back and think about all the fun times and how one person made it fun to be
at school in the first place. When everything has gone quiet, it's always good to call up him/her
and bring the fun back. _
Kristina Eastep says, "I know my best friend will always be there for me; she understands
me better than anybody else and deciphers everything I say so I don't have to explain myself.
She is my other half. I'd be lonely without her." Many times, complete opposite personalities end
up being the closest friends - they compliment each other.
What qualities make someone a best friend? The main answer is usually acceptance.
It's about being comfortable in your own skin and being able to look like an idiot in public and
knowing your best friend will still accept your silly faults.
India Santiago and Tametra Carr think loyalty and trustworthiness are vital. Tametra
says. "I never question our friendship," while India adds. "I appreciate her beauty; we are very
much alike."

An eeiry likelyhood of friendship
Since Ashlee Carver-Weatherspoon and Nancy Trans freshmen year and
Heather Benda's sophomore year these girls have been together.JROTC brought
them together and showed how much these girls had in common.
Laughter filled fun
Day one of first grade Sophomores.Ashley
White and Kayla Premer-Prevatt became
best friends.Since that first day,they have
shared nothing but good times and funny
memories.
