By Erica Kinsman and Lindsey Knowlton
We all know living in Zephyrhills tends to get dull, but with a day like entertainment day
everyone comes to life. Together, the school created a whole new meaning of Hollywood. Some
people portrayed the role model celebrity they look up to, and others took an opposite approach
mocking the celebrities they are not too fond of.
Homecoming week gives everyone the chance to become whoever they want. The halls
were filled with celebrities rushing to class in an effort to avoid the chaos of the blood-thirsty
paparazzi. Instead of finding their regularly dressed teachers and administrators, students were
greeted by famous people such as the Pink Ladies (like Ms. Crociata) and Hulk Hogan (Mrs.
A. Williams). This was everyone's chance to stand out and take on the famous role that he/she
has been dreaming about. This day especially, everyone was able to get extra creative with their
outfits. "Celebrity day was so much fun. I dressed up like Billy Mays and everyone thought I was
the bomb!" said Ashley Seekins.
Not only did many people dress like their character, they totally impersonated them. This
included talking, acting, and using props to be exactly like their character. Whether it was an
athlete, a movie star, or a music icon, the choices are unlimited. From Superman to Katy Perry,
this day was all about role playing.
