HomeMy WebLinkAbout0026 Fame and fortune By Erica Kinsman and Lindsey Knowlton We all know living in Zephyrhills tends to get dull, but with a day like entertainment day everyone comes to life. Together, the school created a whole new meaning of Hollywood. Some people portrayed the role model celebrity they look up to, and others took an opposite approach mocking the celebrities they are not too fond of. Homecoming week gives everyone the chance to become whoever they want. The halls were filled with celebrities rushing to class in an effort to avoid the chaos of the blood-thirsty paparazzi. Instead of finding their regularly dressed teachers and administrators, students were greeted by famous people such as the Pink Ladies (like Ms. Crociata) and Hulk Hogan (Mrs. A. Williams). This was everyone's chance to stand out and take on the famous role that he/she has been dreaming about. This day especially, everyone was able to get extra creative with their outfits. "Celebrity day was so much fun. I dressed up like Billy Mays and everyone thought I was the bomb!" said Ashley Seekins. Not only did many people dress like their character, they totally impersonated them.This included talking, acting, and using props to be exactly like their character. Whether it was an athlete, a movie star, or a music icon, the choices are unlimited. From Superman to Katy Perry, this day was all about role playing. Multiple personalities Mario(Ramon Farias),Kumar(Arun Babu),The Love Guru(Bryan Samons), and Luigi(Albin Babu)all take a minute in the hall to get into character before heading to class.
