HomeMy WebLinkAbout0028 Everyone is seeing multiples By Erica Kinsman and Lindsey Knowlton During homecoming week, twin day is considered one of the favorite dress up days. It is a familiar day and a tradition that accompanies homecoming week every year. This time it was a little different. Instead of being called twin day, it was named multiplicity day, encouraging stu- dents, and teachers, to have more than one look-a-like. Not only were we seeing double all day, but there were up to six multiples and everyone seemed to prefer this. "I love twin day every year, but this year was the best so far because it was not only twins but multiples as well," said Dani Stoughtenger. Besides spirit day, twin day has always had the best participation outcome, and this year there was more participation than ever before. The students were more excited this year, than in the years past, and it showed in their vibrant costumes. After a whole year of planning a costume and putting it together, everyone is excited to reveal the final product at school, hoping that no one else comes in with the same outfit. Stu- dents tend to come up with the most original ideas on twin day such as sumo wrestlers, Woopie Cushions, and astronauts. Some students will go all out buy a costume and some get crafty and decide to make their own costumes. Mulitiplicity day is a necessity to homecoming week and just wouldn't be the same without it. . fi HHH — Ashky Coupe&Brandi justice T r a . , 11V' PR Nerdy teachers Posing as nerds for the day,Mrs.Swails,Mrs.Probst,Mrs.Brady and Mrs. Crociata stop for a quick picture before returning to their classrooms.
