By Erica Kinsman and Lindsey Knowlton Going back to school after a long summer is not exactly a teen's idea of fun. Most kids would probably rather be sitting out by the pool or vacationing with friends and family. Homecoming week gives everyone a little something to get excited about. Spirit day is one of the most exciting days of the year. Students go all out in orange and black in hopes to win the spirit stick for their class at the pep rally, but the spirit day fun is not limited to students. Teachers and faculty members also dress up to show their Bulldog pride. Mrs. Wilks thinks that, "Pep rallies are a very important part of the high school experience."At the pep rally, fall sports get announced and the football ' 1 players get psyched before the biggest game of the year. This year, hundreds of people from the community came out to watch our players oppose the Ridgewood Rams. After winning 49-0, the boys walked off the field with their heads held high and proud to be a Bulldog. "I love going to pep rallies be- cause it brings the whole school together and we're all showing support for our team and having that bulldog pride. Seeing everyone come out to the game to cheer on our team, and having all that football spirit around me made homecoming week even more perfect," said Monique Creantor.
