Because of the large number of students attending this school, people have the tendency
to refer to our campus as diverse. From kids who walk around with guitars to others that dress ec-
centrically, plenty of people stand out in the crowd. Senior Marcus Britt uses an original accessory,
3D glasses, to make his style original.
Senior Danielle Hunter takes pride in her uniqueness when she says, "I wear a ton of brace-
lets, rings, and necklaces all the time. They each have a specific meaning and mean very much to
me." In addition, her blazing red hair is natural. flowing, and adds to her unique personality.
Tattoos, piercings, homemade clothes, music. physical features and past experiences all
influenced students'sense of fashion and behavior. Sophomore Andrew Woods has a different taste
in music than most teenagers of our generation. When asked to provide different examples of bands
or types of music he prefers, he was not hesitant to respond with, "Modest Mouse, Sublime, Silver-
sun Pickups and anything Indie."Andrew is a great example of originality as he roams the hallways
with his acoustic guitar.
Senior Leihana Aker never fails to stand out with her piercings and sense of fashion. Nor-
mal ear piercings are not enough for her, she also has a nose and bellybutton one.
The diversity throughout our student body is what allows us to be a great school. Take pride
in your individuality.
