As we step through the front double doors of the school as freshmen, many of us
don't know what to expect. With a student population of over 1500, who really knows what
could happen? However, as we begin our journey as high school students, we realize that
it is our job to set a path for ourselves so we can become someone great in the future.
When walking through the halls of the school, different fashions, hairstyles, and per-
sonalities are presented. Many different cliques have made homes in certain areas of the
school, such as during lunch in the commons.
The game pieces of high school (students, teachers, staff, and parents) don't need
to compete against each other - instead work together to achieve a common goal. How-
ever, having the goal of beating Mr. Combs at Scrabble is a great way to improve vocabu-
lary skills.
