The transition from Wesley Chapel HS allowed me to get to know the Zephyrhills community and the pride it takes in its high school. The school is in a community where family members have attended the school going back three to four generations: grandparents, parents and students < ► take a lot of pride in being Bulldogs. I am proud of our Bulldog traditions and want to create a school where students can thrive socially, emotionally, academically and are 'life-ready'. We implemented new programs this year: AVID, Infinity, AgileMind ZeyrPiiIb +11qPi M * btraflom and reading 'push-in'. Next year, we will be implementing an reC Aerospace program where students can study airport \ management, mechanics and engineering. The students in the prvcpa • pprogram will work with our very own Zephyrhills Airport to receive their pilot's license, as well. We are really excited at the opportunities for our present and future students." "I have called Florida and Pasco County home for 20 years. This is my 5th year at ZHS and it has been an especially fun year as we have seen vast improvement in the areas of the athletics. Homecoming Week was spirited as the intense but friendly rivalry between the classes was evident on the dress-up days and in the float building. What has been especially gratifying is the promotion of the college-going atmosphere at ZHS. With the introduction of the reknowned AVID program for this year's ninth graders, as well as Infinity, the bar has been raised for all of the students here at ZHS. More times than not we are seeing 5co1fi 'ey, \ our students step up to meet the challenge. The future of w fi prW\0`p ZHS is exciting as we continue to push all students to 2 SStO► consider all of their options."
