HomeMy WebLinkAbout741-17 Amended Administrative Fees RESOLUTION NO. 741-17 RESOLUTION BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 682-14 TO PROVIDE FOR AN INCREASE IN THE SCHEDULE OF FEES FOR EXPENSES, PURSUANT TO THE ZEPHYRHILLS LAND DEVELOPMENT CODE, RELATING TO MATTERS OF ZONING AND DEVELOPMENT REGULATIONS. WHEREAS, on September 8, 2014, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida sitting in regular session, previously adopted Resolution No. 682-14 which established a schedule of fees relating to certain administrative functions of the City; and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined that certain additional changes are necessary to the fee schedule set forth in Resolution No. 682-14 in order to provide more uniformity in the assessment of fees and to provide for adjustment and updating; and WHEREAS, the following changes are reasonably related to the actual costs of performing the related administrative functions. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida in regular session duly assembled, that said Council hereby amends Resolution No. 682- 14 as follows: SECTION 1. Deposit Required. A deposit is required for all Traffic Studies, Drainage Reviews, Consultant Reviews, and Utility Reviews in an amount equal to the work authorization plus ten percent (10%). The deposit shall be submitted to the appropriate department prior to any review or processing of an application. Site Plan Review New Site Development Plan $1,000.00 fee or$45.00 per 1,000 GSF, whichever is greater. Revised Site Development Plan $500.00 Subdivisions Preliminary Plat $500.00 Construction Plans(Sub. 50 lots or less) $1,000.00 Construction Plans(Sub. 51 lots or more) $1,500.00 Final Plat $500.00 Certified Parcel Subdivision $75.00 Rezoning $1,000.00 Comprehensive Plan Amendment Small Scale $750.00 Large Scale $1,000.00 Planned Unit Development(PUD) Master Plan Review $3,000.00 Plan Amendment $500.00 Conditional Use Residential $800.00 Non-Residential $800.00 Annexation $1,000.00 Deannexation $2,000.00 Vacation $550.00 Public Art Fee (1%of construction value for non-residential projects) Community Development District $15,000.00 DRI $2000.00 Residential $10.00/ac+.50/du Commercial/Industrial $10.00 ac Substantial Deviation $500.00 Tree Removal Fees Permit Application $100.00 Tree Removal $50.00 per inch removed for trees 6"to 16"DBH *Diameter at breast height(DBH) $75.00 per inch removed for trees 17"to 30"DBH $125.00 per inch removed for trees 31"DBH and greater. Zoning Verification $75.00 Due Diligence $150.00 per hour Certificate of Appropriateness (COA) for Historic Properties COA-Staff Level Review $20.00 COA-Historic Board Review $60.00 Failure to Obtain a COA Penalty $200.00 Traffic Studies/Drainage Review Fees to be reimbursed by the applicant,plus 10% for administrative costs. Consultant Review An amount equal to the work authorization,plus 10% for administrative costs. Utility Review An amount equal to the work authorization,plus 10%for administrative costs. SECTION 2. All other provisions of Resolution No. 618-09 and Resolution 565-06 shall remain unchanged. SECTION 3. Any prior resolution or portion thereof establishing a rate schedule for administrative functions regarding the Land Development Code of the City of Zephyrhills that is inconsistent with this Resolution is hereby repealed to the extent that it is inconsistent herewith. SECTION 4. This Resolution shall become effective when passed by the City Council and signed by the Mayor.
