TERMITES,PESTS&HAZARDOUS SUBSTANCES. SPC is not qualified or licensed as an inspector or abatement contractor for hazardous materials o£for pests(inctuding but not limited to termites). Should any hazardous substances or pests be suspected to be present , on tha premises,ii is the Customer's responsibility to arrange and pay for inspectian and treatment. CONTRACTOR LIABILITY. SPC or its insurance carriers shall not be responsible for conditions which depart from conventional building designs,inetuding but not fimited to damaged decking,insuIation,trusses,watls,siding foundations,driveways,sidewalks,ceilings, skylights,plumbing,electrical,air conditioning or lines,drains and other roaf rnaunted aquSpment. SPC and its insurance carriers shail not be held responsible for any damages that may occur during construction project:damaged,cracked,or broken driveway or sidawalks,lawns, gardens,damage to p3ants,floral or scrubs,garage doors,foundations,other structures,buildings or portions thereof,sprinkler systems,wetis, or any damage to septic tanks or drain fields. The Customer shall grovide access for heavy equipment. Magnats will be use�around the properry,during the roofing praject and after the completion of the roof,but due to the nature of the industry,some fasteners/nails may remain trapped in the grass or bushes. SPC,suppliers and insurance carriers shalt not be responsible for the damage to the interior of buiidings due to normal vibraYion associated with the roafing process. Items not securely fastened on any interior or exterior walls or ceiling should be removed. SPC,suppliers,and insurance carriers shail npt be responsible for the any loss or use af any facility or any interior or exterior damages of any kind resulting&om leaks,should they occur. SPC and its insurance carriers are not responsible for any walls,siding or �: y window leaks,thase are to be rapaired by others,nar is the contraetar responsible for the diseonnacting,recannecting,raworking of replacing of any satellite dishes,cabtes,lighming protection,electricai iines,tightning,ptumbing,etc. This work needs to be done by others and paid by � the owner SPC,insurance carriers aze not responsible£or freon lines,electrical conduiUlines,plumbiug or any other lines that are installed ' toa clase to the roof sheathing and or not installed properly to bailding code. SPC sf�all not be held liable or responsible for any in}uries to anyone other than its employees on the job site nor can SPC be held responsible for any damages or injuries by anyone failing through the roof t due to rotten or damaged roof decking. 15. ROOF DRAINAGE. A roaf drainage is determined by the design and original constructian of the buitding,SPC does noi guarantee that water will not remain on a flat roo£ Any damage to any ponding water is not the responsibility of SPC or its insurance carriers.It is the responsibility of the Cnstomer to notify SPC of any known roof drainage problems on the low slope or flat roaf azeas. If after the Contractor remaves the roof inembrane,tha roof deck is found to not Mave the regaired slope for positive drainage,a tapered insulation system will be , installed to the roof deck to hetp enhance proper drainage. This wilt be billed at an additional charge and Customer agrees to pay SPC his normal fee charged to rectify tha problem. It is agreed by Customer that this work will be done immediately in order to watertight the roof as quicky as gossible due to the roof being low slope or flat raof. If the substrate roof condition results in ponding pursuani ta tha Florida BuiIding Cade and modifccations are required to correct the roof sa ponding witl not occur. 16. ROOF DECKING. If we discover that roof decking is not properly nailed to code,we will bring it up to current building code. Replacement of roof decking will be made not to exceed Pour sheets of piywood.Qver four wili be charged to the customer. 17. WAI2RANTY WORK. SPC is respansibte under warranty to repair or reptace at the company's discrection the raofing membranes and associated flashings,which are causing the leak. SPC is not respansible for any daznage from normal(oss of granules from the roof. Work dona or attempted to be done,an this roof by someone other than SPC or authorized agents relieves the warrantor from any fvrther obligation. All damages to embodied work in aur cantract caused by others will be repaired by us and oharged to you at scheduled rates. Failure to keep gutters,down and roof clean may void the warranty SPC will provide a five yeaz labor warranty against leaks or workmanship and on the steep siope shingle,tile and metal roo£ Qne year warranty due to woriananship on the new flat roaf.
