THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, 0V
ANNEXING ADDITIONAL TERRITORY TO BE MPs.)—C
INCLUDED WITHIN THE BOUNDARIES OF SAID ,�s
CITY PURSUANT TO THE REQUEST OF THE
OWNER OF SUCH LAND AND IN ACCORDANCE
WITH FLORIDA STATUTE 171.044, LAWS OF

WHEREAS, the CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, a Florida municipal corporation, is the
present owner of the lands hereinafter described in Section 1, and -4 x
WHEREAS, said CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, a Florida municipal corporation, has
consented to the annexation by the City of Zephyrhills of the lands herein described in Section 1, and
WHEREAS, the City Council approves the annexation of said lands and the inclusion of said
lands within the corporate limits of said City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the City Council of the City
of Zephyrhills, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1: That the following described lands, lying and being situate in Pasco County,
Florida, to-wit:
A portion of Tracts 14, 19, 30, 35, 46, 51, 62 and 63, ZEPHYRHILLS COLONY COMPANY
LANDS, lying in Section 34, Township 25 South, Range 21 East and recorded in Plat Book 1, page
55, Public Records of Pasco County, Florida. Being further described as follows: Beginning at the
Southwest corner of said Tract 63: Thence S., 89° 58' 35" E., along the South boundary thereof,
a distance of 22.75 feet; thence N., 00° 10' 48" E., parallel with the West boundary of said Tract 63,
a distance of 150.00 feet; thence N., 15° 57' 29" W., a distance of 312.06 feet; thence N., 00° 14' 30"
East, a distance of 919.26 feet;thence N., 00° 42' 00" E., a distance of 936.75 feet to a point on the
North boundary of said Tract 14; thence N., 89° 56' 51" W., along the North boundary thereof a
distance of 60.00 feet; thence S., 00° 42' 00" W., a distance of 936.76 feet; thence S., 00° 14' 30"
W., a distance of 1295.10 feet; thence 79.29 feet along an arc of a curve concave to the Northeast
(said curve having a radius of 125.00 feet, delta of 36° 20' 43" chord bearing and distance of S., 17°
55' 51" E., 77.97 feet)to a point on the South boundary of said Tract 62; thence S., 89° 58' 35" E.,
a distance of 100.16 feet to the Point of Beginning. Said land containing 3.76 acres more or less.
LESS and EXCEPT THE FOLLOWING:
A portion of Tract 51, ZEPHYRHILLS COLONY COMPANY LANDS, situated in Section 34,
Township 25 South, Range 21 East, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 55, Public Records of Pasco
County, Florida, described as follows:
Commence at the Southwest corner of Tract 63, ZEPHYRHILLS COLONY COMPANY LANDS,
in Section 34, Township 25 South, Range 21 East, as recorded in Plat Book 1, Page 55, Public
Records of Pasco County, Florida; thence run S., 89° 58' 35" East, 22.75 feet along the South line
of said Tract 63; thence run N., 00` 10' 48" E., parallel wit: the West bou:idar ;;f aid Tract 63,
150.00 feet; thence run N., 15° 57' 29' W., 312.06 feet for a point of beginning; thence run N., 89°
58' 05" W., parallel with the North line of aforementioned Tract 51, 10.00 feet; thence N., 00° 14'
30" E., 198.09 feet to a point of the North line of said Tract 51; thence S., 89° 58' 05" E., along said
North tract line, 10.00 feet; thence run S., 00° 14' 30" W., 198.09 feet to the Point of Beginning.
be, and the same is hereby annexed to and included within the boundaries of the City of
Zephyrhills, Florida, a municipal corporation.
SECTION 2: Said lands are contiguous to the present city limits of the City of Zephyrhills.
That said lands are now unincorporated and lie in the same county as said City, and when annexed

would form a compact addition to the incorporated territory of said City. That the owner of said
lands contained in said area to be annexed have given consent to have such annexation for said area.
SECTION 3: That the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, has been given authority by the legislature
of the state of Florida, pursuant to Florida Statute 171.044 and pursuant to the Charter of the City
of Zephyrhills, to annex contiguous areas to said City and to extend the city limits or territorial
boundaries upon receipt of a written consent of all owners of land contained in the area to be
annexed, together with the approval of the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, of said annexation
duly expressed by Ordinance.
SECTION 4: That it is the intention of the City Couac l of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida,
to annex the above-described lands to said City within its territorial limits and the boundary lines of
said City are hereby redefined and extended so as to include said area of land within its territorial
limits upon the final passage of this Ordinance.
SECTION 5: That this Ordinance shall be published in a newspaper of general circulation
for two (2) consecutive weeks and that proof of publication of this Ordinance shall be filed herein.
SECTION 6: That upon the filing of the Proof of Publication and final adoption of this
Ordinance, a copy of same shall be filed with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pasco County, Florida,
and a copy will be forwarded to the Department of State, Tallahassee, Florida.

and regular meeting by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, on this /34 day of
