AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF ( =xi
THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, ``
. ._LEVYING MILLAGE RATE FOR FISCAL YEAR K:
2000-2001 FOR THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS. q
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills has timely advised the Pasco County 74
Property Appraiser's Office that it proposed to levy a millage rate of 6.42 mills, which is more than s
the rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065 (1)by 4.87% and

WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills did on September 11, 2000, conduct
a Public Hearing and following said Public Hearing, did adopt a tentative budget of Twenty Two � T

Million Two Hundred One Thousand Two Hundred and Seventy One Dollars and no cents
($22,201,271.00) and a proposed millage of 6.42 mils; and 'W..„..,.„
WHEREAS,the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills did advertise on September 22, 2000, = �,

its intent to adopt a final budget and millage rate during a Public Hearing held September 25, 2000;

WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills did, after receiving input from the I
general public, adopt a final budget of Twenty Two Million Two Hundred One Thousand Two
Hundred and Seventy One Dollars and no cents ($22,201,271.00).
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,
Florida, sitting in regular session, that:
1. The millage rate to be levied for ad valorem taxes within the municipality of the City
of Zephyrhills for the 2000-2001 fiscal year shall be 6.42 mills, said rate being 4.87% more than the
rolled back rate computed pursuant to Florida Statute 200.065 (1).
2. This Ordinance shall become effective upon second reading and signing by the Mayor.
The foregoing Ordinance No. Tao -o o was read and passed on its first reading in open
and regular meetings'by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, on this !I day of
