ORDINANCE NO. 589
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ,ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, REZONING
LANDS WITHIN SAID CITY, PURSUANT TO THE
REQUEST;OF THE OWNERS OF SUCH LAND AND
IN ACCORDANCE WITH FLORIDA STATUTE
166.041 (3) (c) 1.
WHEREAS, SUNBANK AND TRUST COMPANY, is the present owner in fee of the
lands hereinafter described in Section 1, and
WHEREAS, said SUNBANK AND TRUST COMPANY,has applied for rezoning of said
parcel from Planned Unit Development (PUD) to Recreation/Conservation (RC), and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission has recommended approval of the owner's
application for rezoning, and
WHEREAS, the property to be rezoned does involve less than five percent (5%) of the
total land area of the City of Zephyrhills and the City is thereby empowered to rezone same in
accordance with Florida Statute 166.041 (3) (c) 1.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the City Council of the
City of Zephyrhills, Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1: That the following described lands,lying and being situate in Pasco County,
Florida, to-wit:
Parcel ID1i10-26-21-0010-03 800-0000
Tracts 38, 39, 40 and 41,' ZEPHYRHILLS COLONY COMPANY LANDS, in Section 10,
Township 26 South, Range 21 East, as recorded in Plat Book 1, page 55, Public Records of
Pasco County, Florida; LESS the South 522.5 feet of the West 500.5 feet of Tracts 41 and 42,
and LESS any portion of Tract 41 contained within Wedgewood Manor Subdivision, Phases I
and H.
be, and the same is hereby'rezoned and henceforth, said property's zoning designation shall be
Recreation/Conservation (RC)
SECTION 2: That this Ordinance shall become law upon being passed by the City
Council.of the City of Zephyrhills after three (3) readings and execution by the presiding officer
and the clerk of that body in accordance with Florida Statute 166.041, Laws of Florida.
