HomeMy WebLinkAbout505 Rezone – Depot – South Avenue C) 3 aG0 C9-t ,k \245 ORDINANCE NO. 505 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS , FLORIDA, REZONING LANDS WITHIN SAID CITY, PURSUANT TO THE REQUEST OF THE OWNER OF SUCH LANDS AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH FLORIDA STATUTE 166 .041 (3) (c) 1 . WHEREAS, the CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS, a municipal corporation, is the owner in fee of the lands hereinafter described in Section 1 ,- and WHEREAS, the Zephyrhills Planning Commission has decreed that in keeping with the surrounding properties and the City ' s Comprehensive Plan that the appropriate zoning for said property should be Recreation/Conservation- (RC) , as `same is defined in the Zoning Regulations of the City `% of Zephyrhills , originally adopted July 28 , 1986 , and WHEREAS, the property to be rezoned doesinvolve less than five percent (57) of the total land area of the City of Zephyrhills and the City is thereby empowered to rezone same in accordance with Florida Statute 166 . 041 (3) (c) 1 . • NOW, THEREFORE, RE TT ENACTED AND ORDAINED _by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills , Florida as follows : SECTION 1.
