HomeMy WebLinkAbout516 Rezone – Sun Bank Go \\ ' q'sj7© ORDINANCE NO. 516 \' 2"1 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS , FLORIDA, REZONING LANDS WITHIN SAID CITY, PURSUANT TO THE REQUEST OF THE OWNER OF SUCH LANDS AND IN ACCORDANCE WITH FLORIDA STATUTE 166 . 041 (3) (c) 1 . WHEREAS , SUN BANK OF TAMPA BAY, as Trustee of the S .S . III Bedi Irrevocable Trust , is the owner of the land hereinafter described in Section 1 , and WHEREAS , the Zephyrhills Planning Commission has decreed that in keeping with the surrounding properties and the City' s . Comprehensive Plan that the appropria',te zoning f-or said property should be Office/Professional (OP)y; :and .:- - - WHEREAS , '= `' lWHEREAS , the property to be rezoned does involve less than five percent (5%) of the total land area of the City of Zephyrhills and the City is thereby empowered to rezone same in accordance with Florida Statute 166 .041 (3) O 1 . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ENACTED AND ORDAINED by the ;City Council of the City of Zephyrhills , Florida, as follows:-i -' SECTION 1 . That the following described lands , lying and being situate in Pasco County, Florida, to-wit : The South 233 . 71 feet of the West 208 . 71 feet of Tract 31 , ZEPHYRHILLS COLONY COMPANY LANDS , as recorded in Plat Book 1 , Page 55 , Public Records of Pasco County, Florida and being- ,in Section 15 , Township 26 South, Range 21 East , LESS the South 25 feet thereof be , and the same is hereinafter rezoned and henceforth, said properties zoning designation shall be Office/Professional (OP) , in accordance with the Zoning Regulations of the City of Zephyrhills , dated July 28 , 1986 and incQJr,porated by -J /__ reference into Zephyrhills City Ordinance No. 397 , known as the "City of Zephyrhills Zoning Ordinance" . ---- ---- — -- SECTION 2 . This Ordinance shall become law upon being passed by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills after three (3) readings and execution by the presiding officer and the clerk of that body in accordance with Florida Statute 166 .041 , Laws of Florida.
