Henry OIT ORDINANCE NO. 338 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS , FLORIDA, A MUNICIPAL CORPORATION, ANNEXING A CERTAIN PARCEL OF LAND TO THE CORPORATE LIMITS OF SAID CITY, UPON PETITION OF OWNER OF SAID LANDS : PROVIDING FOR REDEFINING OF BOUNDARY LINES OF SAID CITY TO INCLUDE SAID PROPERTY; PROVIDING FOR THE PUBLI- CATION OF SAID ORDINANCE , AFTER ADOPTION, FILING WITH THE CLERK OF THE CIRCUIT COURT AND DEPART- MENT OF STATE. WHEREAS, Florida Statute 171 . 044 does provide a procedure CO whereby all owners of real property being contiguous to the CO corporate limits of the City of Zephyrhills , may be annexed to CO said City upon Petition of said owner and the adoption of an ordinance annexing same , and WHEREAS , a certain owner of real property of lands contiguous to the corporate limits of the City of Zephyrhills , has by • Petition requested the annexation of said lands to the City of - 11/ Zephyrhills , and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills has deemed it to the best interest of said City that the lands described on said Petition be annexed within the corporate limits of the City of Zephyrhills , NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ZEPHYRHILLS , FLORIDA, as follows : - 1 . That the following parcel of real property be-'annexed to the City of Zephyrhills , pursuant to Petition filed by- the owner of said lands and approved by the City Council '9f .the Ciky of Zephyrhills , Florida, said real property and owner o same being as follows : . 111 That Part of the N 1/2 of Tract 32 lying East of SAL Railroad Company' s right of way in Section 3 , Township 26 South, Range 21 East as said tract is numbered and shown on the Plat of Z . C. C.L . , less right of way for U. S . Hwy. 301 . said lands being owned by David M. Henry and Erlene Y. Henry d/b/a Henry' s Office Supply. That it is deemed to be in the best interest of the City of Zephyrhills that the lands above-described be annexed to and become a part of the City of Zephyrhills . That upon adoption of this ordinance the boundary lines of the corporate limits _of the Cityof Zephyrhills shall be`' - redefined so as to include the real property described above. 3 . That the annexed property shall be zoned Coiiuper.cia1 in • keeping with the surrounding lands and with the patterns . established by the Zephyrhills Zoning Ordinance. 4 . That this ordinance shall be published for four consecutive weeks and. that proof of the publication of this ordinance be filed herein prior to final hearing of this ordinance . 5 . That upon the filing of proof of publication and final adoption of this ordinance-, a copy of same shall be filed with the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Pasco County, Florida, and a copy be forwarded to the Department of State , Tallahassee , Florida.
