that Transpartation impact Fees ar�d Recourse Recovery Fees may apply to the consttvction of new bui(dings,change of
use in existing buildings, or expansian of existing buildings, as specified in Pasco County Ordinance number 89-07 and

permit issued shall be consVued to be a license to proceed with the work and not as euthority ta violate,cancel,alter,or
set aside any provisions of the technical codes,nor shall issuance of a permit prevent the Building Officia!from thereafter
requiring a correction of errars in pla�s,construction or violations af any cades. Every permit issued shall become invalid
unless the work autharized by such permit is commenced within six months of permit issuance, or if work authorized by
the permit is suspended or abandoned far a period of six(6)months after the time the work is commenced. An extension
may be requested, in writing,from the Building Officiai far a period not ta exceed ninety{90)days a�d wEll demonstrate
justifiable cause for the extensian. �f work ceases for ninety(90)consecutive days,the job is considered abandpned.

4. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION:
This Evaluation Report covers EverGuard�TPO Single-Ply Roof Membrane Systems installed in accordance with GAF '
published installation instructions and the Limitations/Conditions of Use herein.
➢ EverGuard�TPO membranes are nominal 45-mil (1.1 mm), 60-mil (1.52-mm) or 80-mil (2.0 mm) thick, internally
reinforced thermoplastic polyolefin roof covers supplied. Side and end laps are sealed using hot air welding. The
roof cover is mechanically attached or fully-adhered to Approved substrates.
➢ EverGuard Extreme�TPO membranes are nominal 50-mil(1.27-mm),60-mil (1.52-mm), 70-mil (1.8)or 80-mil (2.0 ;
mm)thick, internally reinforced thermoplastic polyolefin roof covers supplied. Side and end laps are sealed using
hot air welding. The roof cover is mechanically attached or fully-adhered to Approved substrates.
➢ EverGuard� TPO FB Ultra membranes are nominal 45-mil (1.1 mm), 60-mil (1.52-mm) or 80-mil (2.0 mm) thick, �

nominal 45-mil (1.1 mm) or 60-mil (1.52-mm) thick, internally reinforced thermoplastic(TPO) roof covers with a
self-adhering backing. EverGuard� Freedom'"" TPO HW laps are sealed using hot air welding. EverGuard�
FreedomTM'TPO with RapidSeamTM Technology laps are self-adhering. The roof cover is self-adhered to Approved
substrates.

5. LIMtTAT10NS:
5.1 This is a building code evaluation. Neither Trinity�ERD nar Robert Nieminen,P.E.are, in any way,the Designer
pf Record for any praject on which this Evaluation Report, or previous versions thereaf, isJwas used for
permitting or design guidance unless retained specifically for that purpose.
5.2 This Evaluation Report is not for use in HVHZ jurisdictions.
5.3 Refer to a current UL Roofing Materials Directory for fire ratings of this product.
5.4 For stee!deck installatians,foam plastic insulation shall be separated from the building interior in accordance ,
with FBC 2603.4 unless the exceptions stated in FBC 2603.4.1 and 2603.6 apply.
5.5 The roaf system evaluation herein pertains to above-deck roof camponents. Raof decks and structaral
members shall be in eccordance with FBC requirements ta the satisfactian of the Authority Having Jurisdiction.
Load resistance of the roof cleck shall be dacumented through proper codified and/or FBC Approval
dacumentatian. "
5.6 For recaver insta!lations,the existing roof shaU be examined in accordance with FBC 1511.
5.7 For mechanically atteched insulation or membrane or strip-bonded insulation,the maximum design pressure
for the selected assembly shall meet or exceed the Zone 1 design pressure determined in accordance with FBC
Chapter 1G. Zones 2 and 3 shai!emplay an attachment density designed by a qualified design prafessiana(ta
resist the elevated pressure criteria. Commonly used methods are ANSI/SPRI WDi, FM Loss Prevention Data
Sheet 1-29, Roofing Applicatian Standard RAS 117 and Raofing Applitation Standasd RAS 137. Assembiies
marked with an asterisk*carry the limitations set forth in Section 2.2.10.1 of FM Lass Prevention Data Sheet
1-29(January 2Q16}for�ane 2/3 enhancements.
5.8 Far assemblies with all components fully bonded in place, the maximum design pressure for the selected
assembly sha!! meet or exceed critical design pressure determined in accordance with FBC Chapter 16. No
rational analysis is permitted for these systems. ;
5.9 For mechanically attached insulatian or merr►brane over exisiing roof decks,fasteners shall be tested in the .
existing deck far withdrawai resistance. A qualified design professional shali review the data for comparisan to
the minimum requirements fpr the system. Testing and analysis shall be in accordance with ANSI/SPRI FX-1 or
Testing Applitation Standard TAS 105.
5.10 For bonded insulation or membrane over existing substrates in a re-roof(tear offl ar recover installation,the
existing deck or existing roof surface shafl be examined for compatibility w�th the adhesive to be installed. If
any surface conditions exist that bring system performance into questian,field uplift testing in accordance with
ANSIjSPRI !A-1,ASTM E9a7, FM Loss Preventian Qata Sheef 1-52 or Testing Applicatian Standard TAS 224
shall be conducted on mock-ups of the proposed new roof assembly.
5.11 For bonded insulation or membrane over existing substrates in a recover installation,the existing roof system
shall be capabie of resisting project design pressures on its own merit to the satisfaction of the Authority �
Having Jurisdiction, as documented through field uplift testing in accordance with ASTM E907, FM Lass �
Frevention Qata Sheet 1-52 ar Testing Applicatian Standard TAS 124.
5.12 Metal edge attachment(except gutters),shall be designed and installed for wind loads in accordance with FBC
Chapter 2b and tested for resistance in accordance with ANS1jSPR1 ES-1 ar Roofing Application Standard RAS
111,except the basic wind speed shall be determined from FBC Figure 1609.3(1),1609.3(2)or 1609.3(3). �
5.13 All praducts in the roof assembly shall have quality assurance in accardance with FAC Rule 61G20-3. �

6. INSTALLATION:
6.1 EverGuard� TPO Single-Ply Roof Membrane Systems shall be installed in accordance with GAF published �
installation instructions,subject to the Limitations/Conditions of Use noted herein.
6.2 System attachment requirements for wind load resistance are set forth in Appendix 1. "MDP" = Maximum
Design Pressure is the result of testing for wind load resistance based on allowable wind loads,and reflects the
ultimate passing pressure divided by 2 (the 2 to 1 margin of safety per FBC 1504.9 has already been applied).
Refer to FBC 1609 for determination of design wind loads.
6.3 For mechanically fastened membrane systems(Type D) over profiled steel deck, membrane shall be installed
running perpendicular to steel deck flutes.
7. BUILDING PERMIT REQUIREMENTS:
As required by the Building Official or Authority Having Jurisdiction in order to properly evaluate the installation of this
product. �
