ANY MATERIALS EXHIBITING MOLD GROWTH THAT ARE NOT TO BE REMOVED (SUCH AS WOOD STUDS OR FRAMING) SHALL BE SANDED WHEREVER POSSIBLE, HEPA VACUUMED AND WET -WIPED WITH A DISINFECTANT BIOCIDE SUCH AS FOSTER 40-80. CARE MUST BE TAKEN TO MINIMIZE THE AMOUNT OF DUST GENERATED DURING SANDING IF THE WALL OR ROOF CAVITY IS OPENED FROM THE INTERIOR OF THE STORE. ANY MECHANICAL SANDER USED SHOULD BE EQUIPPED WITH A HEPA VACUUM TO CAPTURE AND FILTER THE DUST PRODUCED. 2. SURFACES THAT HAVE BEEN WATER AND/OR MOLD DAMAGED, AND AREAS OF POTENTIAL MOLD RE -GROWTH (E.G., WOOD FRAMING) SHOULD THEN BE TREATED WITH AN EPA -REGISTERED ANTI -MICROBIAL INHIBITOR ENCAPSULANT, SUCH AS FOSTER 40-20.
