FIELD BRACING is not the responsibility of the truss fabricator,
truss designer, or plate manufacturer. Persons erecting trusses
are cautioned to seek professional advice regarding temporary
and erection bracing which is always required to prevent toppling
and dominoing during erection, and permanent bracing which may
be required in specific applications. Trusses shall be erected
and fastened in a straight and plumb position. Vhere no direct
top chord sheathing is applied, trusses must be braced at 24'
on center maximum, Vhere no direct bottom chord sheathing is
applied, trusses must be braced at 10'-0' on center maximum.

A FOUNDATION SURVEY SHALL BE PERFORMED AND A COPY OF THE SURVEY SHALL BE ON THE SITE FOR

PERMANENT METAL OR PLASTIC FORMS. PERMANENT FORMS MUST BE OF A SIZE AND DEPTH THAT WILL
ELIMINATE THE DISTURBANCE OF SOIL AFTER THE INITIAL TREATMENT.
MINIMUM 6 MIL VAPOR RETARDER MUST BE INSTALLED TO PROTECT AGAINST RAINFALL DILUTION. IF RAINFALL
OCCURS BEFORE VAPOR RETARDER PLACEMENT, RETREATMENTIS REQUIRED.
CONCRETE OVERPOUR AND MORTAR ALONG THE FOUNDATION PERIMETER MUST BE REMOVED BEFORE EXTERIOR
SOIL TREATMENT.
SOIL TREATMENT MUST BE APPLIED UNDER ALL EXTERIOR CONCRETE OR GRADE WITHIN 1'-0" OF THE
STRUCTURE SIDEWALLS.
AN EXTERIOR VERTICAL CHEMICAL BARRIER MUST BE INSTALLED AFTER CONSTRUCTION IS COMPLETE INCLUDING
