I have performed a combination of rational and comparative analyses on this product, which includes the mandatory requirements of Annex A1.2.1 in ASTM D 3679a Installation must be over 7/16" minimurn nailable sheathing. Installation fasteners must be roofing nails mdth 3/8" diameter head, 1/8"diameter shank, and a minimum length of 1-1/2'% The allowable design wind pressures for this product have been determined in a separate 8 page structural analyses titled VINYL, PLASTIC & STEEL SIDING ANALYSES FLOPJDA EVALUATIONS & 2020 FBC UPDATE. Stud spacing must be 16", and studs must be 2 x 4 minimum. With 16" horizontal spacing, all nails must penetrate studs, and vAth 8" horizontal spacing, 1/2of all nails must penetrate studs.
