The foundation of the home is a perimeter concrete block foundation wall, reinforced concrete footing. 4. The foundation supporting the wood beam is concrete block piers supported by a concrete footing. 5. The home has a crawl space. 6. The existing floor joists run north/south. 7. The floors along the north side of the home have a slight bounce when walking on them. 8. Additional support and shims at the top of the concrete block piers have been added over the decades to compensate for excessive floor slopes, due to settlement. (see photos) 9.
