PLANNING, ENVIRONMENTAL PERMI7TING August 1, 1991 Mr. John Smith 37326 Rutledge Dr. Zephyrhills, Fla. 33541 RE: First Baptist Church - Zephyrhills Old Sanctuary front porch overhang Dear Mr. Smith: After looking at the settling that has occured in the overhang on the front of the old sanctuary at First Baptist Church,'I am of the opinion that this settlement is due primarily to the deterioration of the four existing wood support columns. The overhang can be restored to a level position by simply replacing the support columns after jacking the structure to it's original position. I have reviewed your sketches for proposed/column replacement and it appears that your method of repair is satisfactory. The proposed pipe-jack assemblies that will be encapsulated in the new aluminum ornamental columns appear to be a good solution.
