Re: Traffic Impact Fees Driftwood
Dear Mr. Smith:
This is a follow up letter in response to a telephone call from Toni of your
office regarding Traffic Impact Fees for a fourplex unit in Driftwood sub-
division. On October 31, 1988 a letter was sent to you by Nick Nichols (City
Manager) calculat~ng the Traffic Impact Fee due by you on each dwelling unit
at permitting time. The Traffic Impact Fee ordinance was passed and implemented
into a three (3) year period with constructior. permits issued on October 1,
1988 thru September 30, 1989 will be 1/3 of calculated fee, October 1, 1989
thru September 30, 1990 will be 2/3, October 1, 1990 thru September 30, 1991
will be the full calculated fee. We are presently into the second year of
the ordinance, therefore the following fee or credit will b~ due. Proposed
fourplex unit $374.31 less 1/3 = $249.54 X 4 = $998.16,less credit of $1,214.76
per letter from City Manager on October 31, 1988. Balance due developer on
future Traffic Impact fees will be $216.60.
