Repeat steps #7 & #8 for the remaining "Collector-Couples" and then connect the "Collector-Couples" together with a PPC as described on page 13. At this point it would he easier to snap the hottom half of the PPC into the Sled before inserting the gasket and clamping the panels together. NOTE: If the panels are installed on a significantly steep roof (4/12 or greater slope), the installation of additional Pads, Sleds, and PPe's are required in the center of the top header of each panel. In this case, the PPC will be clamped over the center welding joint of the top header. This additional anchoring will prevent sagging of the headers. NOTE: It is important that the 47" dimension between Pads he accurate so the Sleds will he located in the center of the Pads. This will allow for maximum horizontal expansion. NOTE: If you are mounting on flat tile and the tiles you are mounting to are securely fastened to the roof, you can fasten the pad to the tile using AC-l2 7 tapcons.
