New Trane units, of equivalent specifications, will be re-installed on roof curbs, at this contractor's expense, and connected to duct system. A Trane package A/C system including curb, associated heat strips, fresh air intake, fire/smoke detector, thermostat, and duct system including supply and return air diffusers, will be provided and installed in place by A/C contractor. Installation of roof curb will be coordinated with roof contractor to assure no water damage due to rain. A/C contractor will provide, for local permitting, drawings of this complete installation stamped as approved by registered PE. In addition, this contractor will provide load calculations, based on 4th edition of the Manual N, along with duct system design and type to comply with Florida energy code. All work will be done in a workmanlike manner and coordinated with other trades to assure neat and functional installation in a timely manner. Fire and smoke detector will be installed in place and connected to shut down system in event of fire. Detector will be connected to fire alarm system by certified installer. Electrical work other than lo-voltage control will be done by others. Any expenses normally associated with inspections will be paid by A/C contractor. ITEM #3: Basic lightning protection consisting of strike diversion from people and buildings to air terminals, down conductors and ground system along with service and roof top equipment transient surge protection is prudent practice for this area of Florida. A lightning protection system consisting of air terminals, conductors, bonds and ground system, and basic transient protection for category "A" and "B" shall be designed and installed by a LPI certified designer/inspector. Ground system shall be certified to be 5 ohm or less using acceptable Biddle test equipment. A report will be provided to owner on completion. Transient protectors will be provided and installed under Electrical Contractor scope of work in accordance with these specifications. ITEM #4: Electrical Contractor will provide branch circuit and associated equipment to connect new A/C system. Electrical branch circuits will be disconnected from old A/C units and then re-connected to new A/C units. A certified Fire Alarm technician will provide conduit and conductors from smoke detectors on all A/C units and make connection to fire alarm control panel. Lights and convenience outlets in area where partitions will be moved will be provided in accordance with accepted code/standards for lighting and receptacles. Transient surge arrestors will be provided and installed on selected circuits and panels in accordance with Lightning Protection Specifications. Any device that requires transient protection will require a copper ground conductor be installed to panel or sub-panel that branch circuit originates. Electrical Contractor will verify existence of these conductors. Any expenses normally required for inspections will be paid by Electrical Contractor. ZEPHYRHILLS SENIOR CENTER 4645 AIRPORT ROAD, ZEPHYRHILLS PAGE THREE ITEM #5: complete tear orr and haul away or existing gravel roor, approximately 80 (eighty) squares. Install new 1" (one inch) perlite insulation, to be covered with 75 lb. (seventy-rive pound) base sheet and 3-ply riberglass. Mop down system with I-coat Fibered emulsion and 1-rinal coat Aluminum Silver coating. All gravel stop to be replaced with new 26 GA Galvanized drip edge. Install new lead boots on roor. All AIC units and rans to be rerlashed. Cut out existing plaster. Install new L rlashing, nail on new wire lathe and plaster walls over rlashing to match existing texture. ITEM #6: Pour concrete around existing slab at side entrance to create a ramp into the building. Concrete will be poured from existing elevation out in two directions approximately 6' (six feet) to create a grade or no more than 1" (one inch) in 12" (twelve inches) of travel. ITEM #7: Front foyer will have existing recessed ceiling fixtures removed and 4 (four) new surface mount, rour (4) - 40 watt bulb fluorescent rixtures installed. Any drywall ceiling repair's from removal to be included. ITEM #8: The enlarging of the Women's Bathroom to three (3) stalls, the new stall to be set up for handicapped access. The bathroom will be enlarged by extending the common wall between the men's and women's bathrooms to intersect the extension of the wall perpendicular to it, running toward the front door. These walls to be of frame and one-half (112") inch drywall. The new stall walls will match the existing as close as possible. They will be adjacent to the existing sinks. The new door location will be in the existing wall racing the hall. The concrete floor will be opened to tie in the plumbing, repoured with concrete and the entire floor retiled with eight (8") standard ceramic tile and grout. The walls on the inside of the bath and the new external walls will be painted to match. Air conditioning ducts will be run to both baths and any necessary drops to enclose this duct work will be included. Cold air returns are to be cut into the bathroom door. ITEM #9: The Men's Bathroom floor will be retiled with eight (8") inch standard ceramic tile and grout. Air conditioning duct will be run to this bathroom also, and if any drops are necessary to enclose this ductwork, they are to be included. Cold air returns are to be cut into the bathroom door.
