charge of Fifteen and 00/100 Dollars ($15.00) shall be made for each trip for each trade:
a. Wrong Address
b. Condemned work resulting from faulty construction.
c. Repairs or corrections not made when inspection called.
d. Work not ready for inspection when called.
e. Permit not posted on job site.
f. Plans not at job site.
g. Work not accessible.
The payment of inspection fees shall be made before any further permits will be issued to the person owning
same.

B. UNLICENSED CONTRACTORS AND CONTRACTOR RESPONSIBILITIES
If the owner has bired a contractor or contractors to undertake work, they lay be required to be licensed in accordance with
state and local regulations. If the contractor is not licensed as required by law, both the owner and contractor laY be
cited for a lisdeteanor violation under state law. If the owner or intended contractor are uncertain as to what licensing
requiretents tay apply for the intended work, they are advised to contact the City of Zepbyrhills Building Departlent, (813)
188-6611.
FurtherlOre, if the owner has bired a contractor or contractors, he is advised to have the contractor(s) sign portions of the
"Contractor Sections" of this application for which they will be responsible. If you, as the owner sign as the contractor,
you are indicating that you, rather than the contractor, are responsible for the wort. If the contractor wishes you to sign
as contractor that lay be an indication that he is not properly licensed and is not entitled to perlitting privileges in the
City of Zephyrhills.

A perlit issued sball be construed to be a license to proceed with the work and not as authority to violate, cancel alter, or
set aside any provisions of the technical codes, nor sball issuance of a perlit prevent the Building Official frOl thereafter
requiring a correction of errors in plans, construction, or violations of any code. Every perJit issued shall beCOle invalid
unless the work authorized by such perlit is COIIenced within six IOnths of issuance, or if work authorized by the perlit is
suspended or abandoned for a period of six IOnths after the tite the work is c~ced. One 90 day extension of tite, laY be
allowed for the perJit with fee charge of $15.00. Tbe extension sball be requested in writing to the Building Official. An
approved inspection lUst be logged during each sixlOnth period, or the project will be considered abandoned.

210-52. Dwelling Unit Receptacle Outlets.

(a) General Provisions. In every kitchen, family room, dining room, living room, parlor, library, den, SWl room,
hcdroom, recreation room, or similar room or area of dweDing wuts, receptacle outlets shall be installed so that no point
along tlle floor line in any waD space is more than 6 ft (1.83 m), measw'ed hori7..ontaUy, from an outlet in that space,
including any wall space 2 ft (610 mm) or more ill.width and the wall space occupied by fixed panels in exterior walls,
hut excluding sliding panels in exterior waDs. The waD space afforded by fixed room dividers, such as freestanding
hal.-type counters or railings, shaD be included in the 6-ft (.l.83-m) measurement.
As used in this section, a "wall space" shall be considered a wall unbroken along the floor line by dOOlways, frreplaces,
and similar opeJungs. Each wall space 2 ft or more (G 10 mill or more) wide shall be treated individually and separately
(hUll other wall spaces within the room. ^ wall space shall be penniUcd to include two or more walls of a roolD (around
nmlcrs) where unbrokcn at the floor line.
Receptacle outlelq shall, insofar as practicable, be spaced equal distances apart. Receptacle outlets in floors shall not be
counted as pat1 of the required number of receptacle outlets unless located within 18 in. (457 nun) of the wall.
The receptacle outlets requu:ed by this section shall be in addition to any receptacle that is pad of any lighting fixture or
appliance, located within cabinets or cupboards, or located ovcr 5 1/2 n (1.68 m) above the floor.
Exception: PermanentUJ installed electric baseboard heaters equipped withfactury-installed receptacle outlets or
(mtlets provided as a separate assembly by the manufactu.rer shall be permitted as the required outlet or outlets for the
wall space utilized by such permanentUJ installed heaters. Such receptacle outlets shall not be connected to the heater
circuits.

] ,;ghting outlets shall be installed where specified in Sections 21O-70(a), (b), and (c) below.
(a) Dwelling Unlt(s). At least one waD switch-controlled lighting outlet shall be installed in every habitable room; in '
bathrooms, haDways, stailways, attached garages, and detached garages with electric power; and at tlle exterior side of
outdoor entrances or exits. A vehicle door in a garage shall not be considered as an outdoor entrance or exit.
At least one lighting outlet controlled by a light switch located at the point of entry to the attic, underfloor space, utility
room, and basement shall be installed whet'e 1hese spaces arc used for storage or contain equipment requiring servicing.
The lighting outlet shall be provided at or near the equipment requiring servicing.
Where Jightulg outlelc; are installed in intelior staiIways, there shall be a wall switch at each floor level to control the
lighting outlet where the difference between floor levels is six steps or more.
