state and local regulations. If the contractor is not licensed as required by law, both the owner and contractor laY be
cited for a lisde.eanor violation under state law. If the owner or intended contractor are uncertain as to what licenSing
requirelents lay apply for the intended work, they are advised to contact the City of Zephyrbills Building Departlent, (813)
788-6611.
FurtherlOre, if the owner has hired a contractor or contractors, he is advised to have the contractor(s) sign portions of the
-Contractor Sections- of this application for which they will be responsible. If you, as the owner sign as the contractor,
you are indicating that you, rather than the contractor, are responsible for the work. If the contractor wishes you to sign
as contractor that lay be an indication that he is not properly licensed and is not entitled to per.itting privileges in the

Note:
Where job conditions dictate a post height of 10' in a 120 MPH wind zone, a 3" x 3" Roll Formed
COULD NOT BE used because when it is more than 10' tall it can only support 39 SF of roof. On the
other hand, a 3" x 3" Fluted Post with a post height of 10'- 7" can support an area of 128 square feet of
area_ Thus, design must satisfy both height and area requirements_
