Rick and I visited the above-mentioned site this afternoon and provide the following comments that will need to be addressed prior to approval: 1.) Letter from engineer stating all construction is in compliance with the approved site plan; 2.) Area along retention pond in new parking lot is being undermined and needs to be fixed; 3.) The entryway off 6th Street is supposed to be 24 feet in width with ingress and egress. The width appears smaller and is marked as ingress only; 4.) Two oak trees along 9th Avenue appear to be dead; 5.) Landscaping beginning at SW comer running north to entrance on 6th Avenue and a little beyond the entrance has not been planted. Please let us know when these deficiencies have been completed and Rick and I will sign off on the DO. p. From: David Wulff Date: 10/18/2001 Re: Badcock Addition and Remodeling Project - Zephyrhills Recently we made a change in the interior wall construction for both the addition and the new walls in the existing portion of this building. Please let me know if this will meet with your approval. Per the drawings, sheet A-4, the new walls were to be constructed using 3-1/2" metal studs at 16" a.c. We are changing the wall construction to standard 2 x 4 wood studs at 16" O.c. This would be consistent with building Type IV Unprotected Construction and 704.2.3.1 "Partitions dividing portions of stores, offices or similar places occupied by one tenant only, which do not establish an exit access corridor serving an occupant load of 30 persons or more, and partial partitions, may be temporary or permanent and constructed in accordance with 609 without fire resistance, provided that: 1. Their location is restricted by their method of construction or by means of permanent tracks, guides or other approved methods. 2. Flammability shall be limited to materials having an interior finish classification as set forth in Table 803.3 for rooms or areas. Per 803.3, interior finish classification for "Other Spaces" shall be Class c." The new fire wall between the warehouse and retail spaces will be in accordance with UL Design U333 (see sketch attached). Thru wall penetrations in this fire wall will be per the attached UL designated systems No. W-L-1120 and No. W-L-2134.
