We appreCiate YOUr business!!! We have examined the Roof on the afore mentioned bUilding, as you requested, and submit the following proposal for your conSideration. HUNTINGTON ROOFING, INC. WILL FURtUSH ALL LABOR. AND MATERIALS NEEDED TO COUPETE T"e FOLLOWING. 1. Move eXisting Ballast (ROCk) from work area. This will be done in each area being recovered, as work progresses a- cross the Roof. 2. The existing in place Rubber ROOf Membrane Will be cut, using a utility knife, so as to allow the new Roofing SYs- tem to move independently when installed. If not cut the two Rubber Membrane's may become stUCk together, and hinder the design of the new Roofing System, to move as weather conditions will dictate. 3. The eXisting 2 inch Poly Styro Insulation will remain in place, and will b~ reused. There is no need to remove this Insulation, because it appears to be in very good condi- tion, and it will save a lot of money. 4. FUrniSh, and install a new .045 EPDM Rubber Roof System directly Over the existing reu9.ed Poly Styro Insulation, and neWly cut eXisting EPOM Membrane Roof material. The new Rubber Membrane will be loose laid into place. The newly created seam area's of Membrane to Membrane Joining will be completed using a 3 inch Quick Seam Splice Tape, and aPPrOVed a.dhes 1 ve. Once an area of Membrane has be.n laid, and seams Complet- ed, the Ballast (ROCk) will be moved back over the newly installed Rubber ROOf System to help the System in place, as it is designed. The Ballast will be left from seam area's, so that when the new Roof System is inspeCted, the Manufacturers Inspector can properly inspect all seams to insure seams are installed as per specifications. Once the inspection has been completed the Sallast will be PUShed Over the seam area's, to complete the ROOf System. e. All Curb Units, Roof hatch, Parapet Wall's, and Vent Pipes wi 11 be re-flashed, USing approved Rubber Membrane Flashing prOduct's, and all newly installed FlaShing's wi 11 be term-' inated, as per ManUfacturers speCifications. and recommen~ dations. OP'TION .1 BASE BID $98,750.00 TAX INCLUDED. 10 Vear ManUfacturers Warranty, that will cover the newly installed Rubber Membrane Flashing's, and Roof System. OPTION-H 15 Year ManUfacturers Warranty, that wi 11 cover the neWly installed Rubber Membrane Flashing's, and ROOf System. The new EPDM Rubber Roof System, and all flaShing mater- ial's will be of Firestone BUilding Products, and will be installed in accordance with the Manufacturer's specifi- cations, and recommendations. 2. Upon completion of the new Membrane Roof System, a Manu- facturers Technical Representative will inspect the Roof System, and all n.wFlashing's, and UpOn acceptance will iSsue a Manufacturers Warranty of Owners ChOice, Option ., or OPtion '2. 3. All debris incurred during the recover will be remOved from the jOb site, and the Roof area wi II be left in II clean, and Orderly condition. The eXisting Guttering System, and Parapet COPing Cap SYS- tem will remain in plaCe, and will be reused. We carry Workman's compensation, property damage, and PUblic liability insurance to protect the owner during the course of the work.
