I am pleased to wonn you that the Department of Commuaity Affairs has granted Cook Portable
Warehouse approval to manufacture ~sidentiallawll sto~ buildin8S for installation in Florida. This
approval is granted pursuant to your submittal which WIlS found by this departmeot and your
inspection/plans review agency to be in compliance with the Manufactured Buildings Act. Building
plans must be approved by )'OUr third party inspectil'l11/plans review agency before manufactwing the
buildings. Buildings must be inspected by your third party agency during the manufacturing JrOCClss.
The buildinas must also meet the wind speed of the geographic area they arc installed. On site
installation requirements are specifically arid Mtir=ly reserved to local authorities, These requirements
must be reasonablo and unifor.m1y applied as conventional constnlction.
Based on SectiOll 553.37(3) F, S. aJlmanufactured buildings bearing insignias of approval shall
be deemed to comply with the requirements of all ordinances or rules enacted by any local &ovemment
whidJ govern construction while Section 553.37(5) of the Act does Dot require additional approval by
local gOVDIDDlOIlt.
A copy of this leuer must be attached to the approved plans when making application for local
building pcnnits.
