REINSPECTION FEES: When extra inspection trips are necessary due to anyone of the following reasons, a
charge of twenty-five and 00/100 Dollars ($25.00) shall be made for each trip for each trade:
a. Wrong Address
b. Condemned work resulting from faulty construction.
C. Repairs or corrections not made when inspection called.
d. Work not ready for inspection when called.
e. Permit not posted on job site.
f. Plans not at job site.
g. Work not accessible.
The payment of inspection fees shall be made before any further permits will be issued to the person owning
same.

compliance with any applicable deed restrictions.

If the D\'/ner has hired a contractor or contractors to undertake work, they nlay be required
to be licensed in accordance with state and local regulations. If the contractor is Ilot
licensed as required by law, both the ovmer and contractor may be cited for a misdemeanor
violation under state law. If the owner or intended contractor are uncertain as to wllat
licensing requirements may apply for the intended work, they are advised to contact the
city of Zephyrhills Building Department, 813-766-6611.
t~urtherlllor-e, if the ovmer has hired a contractor or oontractors, he ls advised to have the
contractor(s) sign portions of the "Contractor Sections" of thls applioation for which they
vll11 be respon.sible. If you, as the owner signs as the contractor, YQLi are indicating that
you, rather than the contractor, are responsible for the work. If the contractor wislles
you to sign as contractor that may be an indication that he is not properly licellsed and 16
llot entitled to permitting prlvil~ges in the city of Zephyrhills.

T certify that I, the applicant, have been provided with a copy of "Florida's Construction
lien Law - Homeowner's Proteotion Guide" prepared by the Florida Department of Agriculture
and Consumer Affairs. If the appllcant is someone other that the "owner", I cerify that I
have obtained a copy of the above described document and promise in good faith to deliver
it to the "owner" prior to commencement.

be done in compliance wlth all applicable laws regulating construction, zoning, and land
development.
Application is hereby made to obtaln a permit to do work and installat10n as indicated. 1
certify that no vwrk or installation has commenced prior to lssuance of a permit and that
all work wlll be performed to meet standards of all laws regulating construction, City
codes, zoning reyulatlons, and land development regulations in the jurisdiction. ] also

A permit issued shall be construed to be a license to proceed with the work and not as
authority to vlolate, cancel, alter, or set aside any provisions of the technical codes,
nor shall lssuance of a permlt prevent the Building Official from thereafter requiring a
correction of errors in plans, con~truction, or viOlations of any code. Every permit
is~ued shall become invalid unless the work authorized by such permit is oouuuenced within
six months of lssllance, or lf work authorized by the permlt is suspended or abandoqed for a
period of alx months after the time the work ls conunenced' One 90 day eKtenslon of time
may be allowed for tlle permit with fee charge of $15.00. The extension ~hall be requeated
in \ui ting to the Buildlng Offlcial. An approved inspection must be logged during eaoh ai K
month period, or the project vdll be considered abandoned.
