If tile owner has hired a contractor or contractors to undertake work, they may be required
to be licensed in '8ccordance with state and local r~gulations. If the contractor is not
licensed as required by law, both the owner and contractor may be cited for a misdemeanor
violation under state law. I f the owner or intended contractor are uncertain as to ~Jhat
licensing requirements may apply for the intended work, they are advised to contact the
City of Zephyrhills Building Department, 813-788-6611.

contractor (s) sign portions of the "Contractor Sections" of this appU.cation for which they

understood that a dralnage plan addressing a "compensating volume"'will be submitted Hhich
is prepared by a professional engineer registered in the State of Florida prior to permit
issuance.
A permit issued shall be construed to be a license to proceed with bhe work and not as
authority to violate, cancel, alter, or set aside any provisions of the technical codes,
nor shall issuance of a permit prevent the Building Official from thereafter requiring a
correction of errOrs in plans, Qon~~ruotioqf or vi9~~~ions of any code. Every pe~mit
is~u~d shall beoome invali.d unless tho work authorized by such permit: is commenced within
six months of issuance, or if work authorized by the permi.t is suspended or abandoqed for a
period of ai~ months after the time the work is corronenced. One 90 day e~tension of time
may be allowed for the permit with tee charge of $15.00. The extellsion shall be requested
ill writing to the BuildJng Official. An approved inspection must be logged during each' si il
month period, or the proj ect will be considered abandoned. .

This letter is to certify that I have reviewed the above referenced project to
detennine the structural adequacy of the existing structure to receive the attached
structure. The proposed structure is roughly a 12x140 Carport, and a 8x8 Shed.
The existing mobile home, to be considered an adequate host structure, should
be blocked and anchored in accordance with the manufacturers suggested and
permitted set-up permit.
Therefore, it is my opinion that the marriage ofthe proposed structure with the
addition will not compromise the structural integrity of the host structure, if the
addition is constructed as per the attached aluminwn engineered drawings.
