BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
The Board of Adjustment meeting was held on Tuesday, December 9,
2003, at 4:00 p.m. in the City Council Chambers of City Hall.
Present were members Wallace Reeves, Gary Hatrick, Pat Besinger and
Mickey McPhee. Also present were Bill Burgess, Building Official,
and Karla Owens, legal counsel. Nell Petty was absent.
Meeting was called to order by Chairman Reeves. Roll cal: was
taken, followed by the Pledge of Allegiance.
Minutes of August 12th meeting were approved.
Item 1 - Linda Freeman, 39435 8th Avenue - variance request for east
side setback of 4'6" and rear setback of 7'6" to construct a screen
enclosure for an existing pool.
Linda Freeman was unable to attend the meeting. Rex Hawley,
aluminum contractor, was present as Ms. Freeman's representative.
After brief discussion, motion was made by Mickey McPhee to approve
the variance request. Seconded by Gary Hatrick and motion passed
unanimously.
Meeting adjourned 4:15 p.m.
Nell Petty arrived after meeting had adjourned.
