Every permit issued shall become invalid unless the work authorized by such permit is commenced within six months of issuance, or if work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned for a period of six months after the time the work is commenced. One 90 day extension of time may be allowed for the permit with fee charge of $15.00. The extension shall be requested in writing to the Building Official. An approved inspection must be logged during each six month period, or the project will be considered abandoned. The 4" sand base is only to be used in accordance with the provided soils report. The geotechnical report no. 775-45059 by PSI dated February 19, 2004 states that on site fill or select fill may be used to raise the building pad to finished sub-grade level, provided that the fill is placed and compacted correctly. Final approval is contingent upon no objection to the District's action being received by the District within the time frames described below. You or any person whose substantial interests are affected by the District's action regarding a permit may request an administrative hearing in accordance with Sections 120.569 and 120.57, Florida Statute (F.S.), and Chapter 28-106, Florida Administrative Code (FAC.), of the Uniform Rules of Procedure.
