The floor joists are mounted on 4"x6" treated skids. The skids are notched out for each joist to:be set in place. These features are hidden under the floor, but are so important in the strength of any storage building. . All wood frame structures (wall & rafters) are construct- ed with 2" x4" spruce lumber which proves to be straighter and cleaner than your average studs. We use 1 "x4" lum- ber for belt rails that are dadoed into the 2"x4" framing. The wiring used is #12 wire in 1 /2" EMT Conduit or Romex wire, depending on the unit ordered.
