The results of that design are outlined herein. SUPPLIED INFORMATION Our office has reviewed the information you supplied for the subject project. Specifically, we reviewed the report prepared by Rimkus Consulting Group, Inc., their project no. 119747 dated November 7,2006. Our review of the Rimkus report indicates that sinkhole conditions were not encountered. However, the soil subsidence may be related to the presence of buried debris and/or ongoing erosion. The results of our review indicated distress to both the exterior and interior of the structure. COMMENTS AND RECOMMENDATIONS Based on our review of the information supplied, it is our opinion that underpinning of the structure is necessary to stabilize the conditions encountered. In orderto stabilize the unsuitable conditions encountered along the north wall, we recommend that a total of eighteen (18) underpins be installed at the locations shown on the attached Sheet 1A. Total "lift" to the structure was on the order of 1/8 to 1/4 inch. Note, the depth of the pins varied from 15 to 45 feet. Based on the results of the underpinning activities, together with the field data developed, it is our professional opinion that the underpinning operation re-positioned and/or stabilized the out-of-Ievel wall(s) of the general northwest portion of the residence.
