minimum load carrying capacity of
2,000 pounds per sqc:are foot, It a
less soil bearing capacity exists,
obtain the Engineer's response
before pouring foundation footings,
as foundation revisions ....ill be
required. The Building Official may
dete~ine on inspection that footing
excavations reveal sound virgin soil
suitable for foundation footings.

acceptable.
