BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT
The Board of Adjustment meeting was held on Tuesday, April 10,
2007, at 4:00 p.m. in the Robert H. Johnson Council Chambers of
City Hall. Roll call was taken. Present were members Wallace
Reeves, Gary Hatrick, Pat Besigner and William Poe, Sr. Staff
present: City Attorney Joe Poblick, City Building Official Bill
Burgess, and Senior Code Support Specialist Bobbie Swetland.
The Pledge of Allegiance followed. Motion was made by William Poe,
Sr., to approve minutes of meeting of January 9, 2007. Seconded by
Gary Hartick and passed unanimously.
1. Sears Holdings (K-Mart Corporation)
7422 Gall Boulevard
Variance request to exceed current allowable square foot wall
signage.
Representative present for the variance request was Thomas Eisele,
project manager for Sears Holdings. He addressed the board
regarding original plans submitted for the request, but then he
also submitted an a~ternate p~an for the, board members review and
consideration.
The board members then consulted Bill Burgess, Building Official
regarding his opinion on the alternate plan to which Burgess had no
objection.
After brief discussion, motion was made by Gary Hatrick to approve
the a~ter.nate p~an. Seconded by Pat Besinger and motion passed
unanimously.
Meeting adjourned 4:20 p.m.
