TRANSPORTATION IMPACT/UTILITIES IMPACT AND RESOURCE RECOVERY FEES: The undersigned understands that Transportation Impact Fees and Recourse Recovery Fees may apply to the construction of new buildings, change of use in existing buildings, or expansion of existing buildings, as specified in Pasco County Ordinance number 89-07 and 90-07, as amended. If your line of fence does not work out to even increments of standard fence sections, you will need to trim a fence panel to fit the odd spacing on the end. If this becomes necessary, consider trimming an even amount off of each end of the panel so that the space from the last picket to the post remains consistent (Fig. 4). For aesthetic reasons, you may want to consider splitting the difference and trimming the panel on each end of your fence line, or trimming a portion off of each panel in your fence line, so that all panels are the same size. Step 2 Dig all line post holes, Step 3 Set all line posts as you did the terminal posts, using the stringline at the top of the posts to determine the proper post height. o Installing Y our Fence Panels Step 1 Place the panel between the posts and position it so the bottom of the pickets are 2" above the ground. You may place blocks under the panel to hold it at the desired height. Step 2 Attachment methods vary slightly between line. end and corner brackets. Follow the appropriate step below. A. Line Brackets - A line bracket mounts two adjacent panels to a line post. Position one panel on each side of a line post and block the panels to the appropriate height. Place one half of the line bracket on the back of the post and the other half of the bracket on the front of the post, sandwiching the top rails of the panels between the tabs on the bracket. Align the holes in the tabs with the hole in the panel rail. From opposite sides insert the bolt and the nut provided, screw together and tighten finger-tight. Repeat to mount the adjacent panel to the other side of the bracket. Check the panel height and adjust if necessary. Tighten bolt securely, Repeat this process on the lower rails of each panel. B. End Brackets - An end bracket mounts a panel to an end post. With the panel in position and blocked to the appropriate height, slide the required number of end brackets onto the end post with the tabs pointing toward the panel to be mounted. Slide the top bracket up into position. Insert the top rail of the panel between the tabs on the bracket. Align the holes in the tabs with the hole in the panel rail. From opposite sides insert the bolt and the nut provided, screw together and tighten finger,tight. Check the panel height and adjust if necessary. Tighten bolt securely. Repeat this process on the lower rails of the panel. C. Corner Brackets - A corner bracket mounts two perpendicular panels to a corner post. Position two panels at right angles to each other meeting at the corner post. Place the large segment of the corner bracket on the outside corner of the post and the small segment on the inside corner, sandwiching the top rails of the panels between the tabs on the bracket. Align the holes in the tabs with the holes in the panel rails. From opposite sides insert the bolt and the nut provided, screw together and tighten finger-tight. Repeat to mount the adjacent panel to the other side of the bracket. Check the panel height and adjust if necessary. Tighten bolt securely. Repeat this process on the lower rails of each panel. D. Wall Brackets- A wall bracket is used to attach a panel to a wall or a wood post. Attach the wall bracket at the proper height using appropriate fasteners for the surface to which it is being mounted (wood screws, masonry anchors, etc.). Insert the top rail of the Cut panel between the tabs on the bracket. Align the I holes in the tabs with the hole in the panel rail. Repeat this process on the lower rails of the panel. . Installing Your Gates The following instructions summarize hanging a gate using a standard FSGGHK hardware kit. Please see the installation instructions included with the FSGGHK for complete details. If using another type of hardware, consult the installation instructions included with that hardware. Step 1 Attach the gate hinges and post hinges. Position the top hinge midway between the two top rails and bottom hinge just above the bottom rail. Step 2 Attach the latch midway between the two top rails so that the post sits square in the opening between the wings of the latch. Step 3 Install optional gate spring (GTS) and/or cane bolt (CGB) if desired. Follow the installation instructions included with that hardware. . Touch-Up and Clean-Up OJ Installation Clean material as necessary with a soft rag and mild soap to remove dirt and any concrete that may have splashed onto the material. Rinse with clean water to remove all soap. Note: Leslie-Locke products are constructed of steel for strength and durability. Due to the nature of steel, exposed, scratched or scraped areas will rust. Immediately upon completion of your installation, clean, prime and paint all areas damaged during handling and installation.
