Permit September 26, 2007 To whom it may concern, On September 10, 2007 the City of Zephyr hills passed Resolution #589-07 which contains life safety fees for plan review, inspections, permits and false alarms. This replaces the old Resolution #552-05. Under this resolution an annual permit was created for those places that are considered a p1ac~ of assembly. The Florida Fire Prevention Code defines an assembly as (1) an occupancy used for the gathering offifty (50) or more persons for deliberation, worship, entertainment, eating, drinking, amusement, awaiting transportation, or similar uses; or (2) used as a special amusement building, regardless of the occupant load. The fees for the assembly permit~~O]C}? Once the permit is paid for and obtained by the owner/occupant an inspection Will be condUcted shortly after. The inspection will consist of a site inspection to measure your facility or assembly area and post the occupant load based on the overall square footage of use able space and dividing that by a load factor determined by Section 7.3.1.2 ofNFPA 101, Florida Fire Prevention Code.
