WIRING REQUIREMENTS
The SLC requires use of a specific wire type to ensure proper circuit
operation. It is recommended that all SLC wiring be twisted-pair shielded
to minimize the effects of electrical interference. Wire size should be
no smaller than 18 AWG(0.75 mm2)and no larger than 12 AWG(3.25
mm2). The wire size depends on the length of the SLC circuit. Use the t •
table below to determine the specific wiring requirements for the SLC_ PULL STATION

Each H350 or H350R uses one of 159 possible addresses
(MS-9600)on a control panel SLC loop. It responds to regu-

alarm. It blinks its LEDs when polled and turns the LEDs on
when commanded by the panel .The H350 and H350R otter

Product Overview — --
Like the original Specti,Alert, the SpectrAlert ceilint; mount series
rifler siinificaut current draw reductions over other ceiling mount strobes and
ho;n/siroks
SpectrAlert's compact design also offers Installation sayings. The
strobe ,and horn/strobe models mount to a 4'x4'x I;" back box, arid take up
little room in the hack box, making connections easier. And with Spectr Alert's
r.mud shape it is not necessary to align the hack bow with the room's walls.
Spectr Ale;t always lines up.
SpectrAlert ceiling mount strobes and horn/strobes arc available in
seven different candelas, including 177 candela for sleeping; areas. The horn/
strobe's otics are field-selectable through the use of a three position switch
located on the back of the unit- Selections include electromechanical
and 3 K11/ tones, temporal and non-temporal patterns, and high and
low volume-
SpectrAlcrt ceiling strobes and horn/strobes offer a design that is scnsi-

Calculation in Total Sheet
Use the total standby and alarm load currents calculated in tables A-2A and A-2B for the following battery
calculations
(24 01 60 Hrs.)
Standby Load Current(Amps) 0.285620 x 24 = 6.855 AH
(5 minutes = 0.084)
Alarm Load Current(Amps) 3.051000 I x 0.084 = 0.256 AH
Total Current Load 7.111 AH
Multiply by the Derating Factorl 1.2 I = x 1.20
Total Ampere Hours Required 8.533 AH
The MS 9200UD can charge this size battery
