Gulf Coast Ice is a distributor of "Ice House America" Ice Houses, which are modular buildings that carry the "Insignia" of approval of the Department of Community Affairs ("DCA") as required in Chapter 553 of the Florida Statutes. The City is also having discussions with Pasco County who now claims to have an interest in providing utilities to this site. When this property was annexed into the City, Staff indicated that the City would be providing utilities (which were copied to Pasco County no comments made at that time). The applicant is having a problem in obtaining a Couunty ROW use permit due to the utility issue. Staff will continue to work on this issue with an annexation agreement that is currently being developed. A final SPR fee of$250.00 is required for the resubmitted plans.
