I have provided my comments below that shall be complied with will in order to receive a sprinkler final (acceptance test). Should you have any questions, please contact me at the information above. 1. Installation shall compliant with NFPA 13,2007 Edition. 2. Install a 5"tumdown Storzz versus the standard 2-2 %"FDC. FDC shall be placarded with 6"letters on contrasting background that is visible at night. 3. Zone 3 sprinkler area was designed for 123 sq ft per sprinkler and the allowance for the sprinkler density is 100 sq ft per sprinkler. This does not provide enough coverage and over extends the sprinkler system. NOTE: SPOKE WITH CONTRACTOR ABOUT THIS ITEM AND WAS ADVISED THAT WAS A MISPRINT AND HE WILL SEND AN E- MAIL STATING THAT IT SHOULD BE 130 SQ FT FOR THE SPRINKLER DENSITY. 4. Underground for sprinkler system shall be installed by a certified fire protection company or company that carries the appropriate certification to install dedicated fire protection line(backflow preventor&fire line to riser). 5. System shall be tied into the building's fire alarm system. Tampers and flows shall be monitored. Inspection to be completed: 1. Pressure Test(sprinkler head location will be checked at this time) 2. Acceptance Test(completed in conjunction with fire alarm) NOTE: Sprinkler contractor advised revision will be coming due to the addition of a dry sprinkler system for the canopy area. I have provided my comments below that shall be complied with will in order to receive a sprinkler final (acceptance test). Should you have any questions,please contact me at the information above. 1. Installation shall compliant with NFPA 13,2007 Edition. 2. Install a 5"turndown Storz versus the standard 2-2 %r"FDC. FDC shall be placarded with 6"letters on contrasting background that is visible at night. 3. Zone 3 sprinkler area was designed for 123 sq ft per sprinkler and the allowance for the sprinkler density is 100 sq ft per sprinkler. This does not provide enough coverage and over extends the sprinkler system NOTE: SPOKE WITH CONTRACTOR ABOUT THIS ITEM AND WAS ADVISED THAT WAS A MISPRINT AND HE WILL SEND AN E- MAIL STATING THAT IT SHOULD BE 130 SQ FT FOR THE SPRINKLER DENSITY. 4. Underground for spier system shall be installed by a certified fire protection company or company that carries the appropriate cemfication to install dedicated fire protection line(backflow preveutor 4 fire line to riser). 5. System shall be tied into the building's fire alarm system. Tampers and flows shall be monitored. Inspection to be completed: 1. Pressure Test(sprinkler head location will be checked at this time) 2. Acceptance Test(completed in conjunction with fire alarm) NOTE: Sprinkler contractor advised revision will be coming due to the addition of a dry sprinkler system for the canopy area. Contractor advised nothing has changed other that the dry system being added.
