Fire Alarm Control Panels D7022/D7024 Series
Technical Service Note September 8, 2006
Affects:
• Two-Wire Smoke Detectors
• Four-Wire Smoke Detectors
Bosch makes no written, verbal,or implied claim, that"any smoke detectors, other than the ones listed
on this compatibility list,.work_with the D7022 Series FACP or D7024 Series Fire Alarm
Control/Communicator.
10 Compatible Two-Wire Smoke Detectors
Table 1 lists two-wire smoke detectors compatible with the D7022 Series Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) and
the D7024 Series Fire Alarm Control/Communicator(with or without the D7014 Class A Zone Converter)
under the method required by Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL).
Two-wire smoke detectors not listed should not be used with the D7022 Series FACP or D7024 Series Fire
Alarm Control/Communicator. When mixing different model number detectors manufactured by Bosch,a
maximum of 20 detectors can be used per loop. Two-wire smoke detectors of different manufacturers or
detectors of different model numbers not manufactured by Bosch cannot be mixed on the same circuit.
