I have provided my comments below that will need to be addressed before this project can move forward. A set of plans consisting of a life safety page, electrical and mechanical shall be submitted for further review. To help keep this project moving forward,this office is in agreement with the Building Department in allowing the demolition process to start,but no new work can be completed until the additional plan review process is complete. Should you have any questions, please contact me at the information above. 1. Fire alarm system being moved requires a permit. Contractor shall submit scope of work describing the move. If more than the panel is being relocated, the fire alarm contractor shall submit a set of plans showing all changes. The fire alarm system shall be in compliance with the latest addition of NFPA 72. 2. Additional exit and emergency lighting may be required once the demolition process is completed. The plans shall show where current lighting is so the additional lighting, if needed can be determined. 3. Certified fire extinguishers shall be required within 75' of travel distance. The plans shall show the location of the current extinguisher location. 4. Any electrical and mechanical being removed or added will be approved by the Building Department unless it is directly related to the fire codes. 5. A corridor shall be created so one is not exiting through an office(assistant pastor). The office can have an inward swinging door. 6. The new seating capacity will be based on how the new area is set up. That shall be shown on the new plans. An annual assembly permit is required prior to a final being granted. The permit is $50 and can be obtained at the Building Department. 2 7. Plans submitted shall be to scale to determine proper seating capacity and if the current amount of exits and egress is sufficient.
