This project will be allowed to move forward with comments made below. Paying/receiving permit, contractor acknowledges complying with the following items below. Should anyone have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Fire Marshal's office. 1. A 48 hour notice shall be given prior to the removal of the tank (date and time). The removal shall be performed by a licensed pollutant storage tank contractor. 2. An inspector with Pasco County will be present for the tank removal. Copies of inspection reports shall be given to the Fire Marshal once project is complete. 3. Tanks and all related piping shall be removed in accordance to Rule 62- 761.800, FAC and NFPA 30. 4. An Environmental Closure report shall be forwarded to this office within 60 days of the tank removal. Inspection Required: 1. Completed by Pasco County copied to this office. 1 KE . Included are a brief description of the methods to be utilized for removing the tank and safety and emergency procedures. • Remove two 10,000 - gallon (one gas, one diesel) USTs, dispenses and piping. USTs and piping are to be cleaned prior to removal. Manhole covers shall be removed and inside of the tanks shall be pressure washed and contents removed with a vac - truck. • After tank is cleaned the explosive vapors will be verified with a 4 gas /LEL meter. If above limits then tank will be de- gassed with an air - venturi. When the explosive vapor level fall below 10% of LEL (lower explosive limit) then excavation of the tanks will begin. • The tank will be excavated and processed for disposal at a scrap recycler. • Excavation will be backfilled and area re- surfaced with asphalt. • Environmental Closure Assessment will be performed by third party consultant hired by City of Zephyrhills. • In case of emergency 911 shall be dialed.
