It can be applied for at the Bldg Dept. You will need to turn in a site plan of the property with where the demonstration will be located on that property. A garden hose will need to be near by and the ground can either be scraped back where the fire will sit or a dirt base encompassing the entire demonstration can be laid. The fee will be waived but we just have to follow the process so no one can say we didn't. The flat ends (3 -4 ") of the four Togs is what is actually on fire" so it is a very controlled fire unlike the "Boy Scout" fires is used to teach as a Scoutmaster. With small shovel full of dirt as a base the fire will have no impact on the surrounding area.
