A 60 minute rated fire door shall be installed where the rated wall is opened up. After discussing with builder it is decided to swing that door in and install mag locks connected to the fire alarm to allow the door to shut upon alarm activation. Door specs shall be submitted to this office prior to installation. 2. The rated wall being installed to the west, builder shall submit engineered drawings of how that 1 hour rated wall will be constructed. Drawings shall be submitted to this office prior to its construction for approval. 3. The fire alarm contractor shall submit plans, cut sheets and scope of work on the changes being made to the fire alarm system to obtain a permit to perform this work. System shall be addressable with a new zone map. 4. On the south end by the exit there is some equipment on the wall. Maintain 4 feet of space in front of that equipment to provide for adequate egress space. 5. Ensure there are certified fire extinguishers within 75' of travel. There shall be at least one in the new interior space. 6. Install lightweight truss signs in accordance with FAC 69A- 60.008. Sign shall be an "R" sign mounted at each main door (left side) at a height between 4 — 6 feet. 7. Exit light in west office not required. Cannot exit through an office. 8. On South exit where break /conference room is, ensure there is only a single motion on the door to get out such as a hotel style latch. 9. Add emergency light in handicap restroom. 10. Any penetrations to the firewall by the A/C shall have rated fire dampers. Any other penetrations for electrical, alarm, telephone, etc... shall be a listed method to maintain the rating. The method shall be submitted to this office. 11. If A/C is over 2000 cfm's a duct detector shall be installed and tied into the fire alarm system.
