The operation and maintenance shall include at least semi — annual inspections of said stormwater facilities to make sure system is free from excess silt, sediment and grass clippings. This may require periodic cutting and removal of vegetation and removal of accumulated sediments, grass clippings, and debris from the retention pond bottom. The removal of littoral shelf vegetation (including cattails) from wet detention ponds is prohibited unless otherwise approved by the Southwest Florida Water Management District.
