STRUCTURAL STEEL: Steel Joist shall be 18 S 8 (open web type) to conform with existing building. t' round rod bridging top and bottom as per plan. All sheet metal work to conform with existing building. DOORS EXTERIOR: Front door (South Wall) shall be double acting alumunum, panel to be 1 /1" safety glas Side door (West Wall) shall be the same, except single acting. INTERIOR WALLS: All partitions shall be 2" X 4" framing on 16" center with preasure treated plates. All interior masonry walls shall be furred with 1" x 2" preasure treated strips on 16" center. All interior walls shall be 1 /1," plywood paneling of • INTERIOR DOORS: Shall be hollow °ore, flush veneer to match interior paneling. OILING: Shall be Acoustical Tile, supported by suspension system. FINISH FLOOR: Shall be Commercial Carpeting over padding of 68 os. Super Chief -Flat Slab Commercial cushion or equivalent PAINTING: All painting, staining, etc, shall be applied where required over properly prepared surfaces. ELECTRICAL WORK: All electrical work, installing of wiring, 'boxes, snitches, receptacles, etc, shall be performed as per plan. All materials will conform to Underwriters Laboratory Standards. 2 of 6 Sheets Work shall conform to all applicable codes, laws, ordinances and regulations of all agencies braving jurisdiction, as well as requirements of Florida lower Corporation. PLUMBING: Shall be located and installed as per plan in accordance with local plumbing code. Material and equipment shall be standard products of a reputable manufacturer. Shower stall shall be ceramic tiled 6' high. HEATING AND AIR OCNDITIONING: Unit shall be a product of a reputable manufacturer, adequately large enough to efficiently heat and cool addition and re- modeled area. Duct work shall be installed approximately as per plan, to be of a size and design to effectively heat and cool area. 3 of 6 Sheets Monthly estimates will be made on or before the first day of each month by the Aailding Committee of the City Council and the Contractor. The Contractor will be paid 90% of the esti- mate. Final 10% will be paid when the project is accepted by the City Council. Each bid will be accompanied by a check in the amount of two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) and per- formance bond. In lieu of a performance bond, the Contractor will be paid 80% of the estimates. Final 20% will be paid when project is accepted by the City Council. In the event the proposal is accepted by the City and the Contractor fails to enter into a contract, his check will be kept as liquidated damages. Contractor to specify the number of working days in which he will complete building. A working week constitutes 5 days. (Monday through Friday) NOTE: CHANGES IN FLANS 1. Doorways to be cut through wall to rest rooms from Court Room. 2. Partitions to be installed in Court Room to provide dividers between Court Room and Rest Room. j. Air Conditioning Units Required The courtroom shall be conditioned by a rooftop mounted unit and one rooftop mounted unit for the office and jail area. 5 of 6 Sheets Air Distribution System Ducts may be 1" thick fiberglass, class II., minimum density of 2.5 lbs. per cubic foot. Ur, galvanized sheet metal insulated with 2" thick flexible insulation with vapor barrier - .75 lbs. per cubic foot density. All joints shall be scaled against vapor penetration. Opposed blade dampers shall be installed behind all supply grilles for balancing. Air Conditioning System Shall include all materials and labor including electri- cal wiring to have a complete operating system. Con - tractor shall balance system upon completion of install- ation. Contractor to service system including parts and labor free of charge for one year after final com- pletion and acceptance by the city. The compressor. are to have an additional Lt year warranty.
