AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
ZEPHYRHILLS, FLORIDA, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 985-07,
SECTION 1. DEFINITIONS TO PROVIDE FOR CLASSIFICATION OF
RECREATIONAL VEHICLE PARKS AS COMMERCIAL; PROVIDING
FOR THE SEVERABILITY; REPEALER; AND AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, it is necessary to classify recreational vehicle parks from residential to commercial
entities for sanitation rate setting purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills finds that the passage of this Ordinance
will further the interest of the health, safety, and general welfare of the public, or are otherwise
necessary to comply with Florida law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills,
Florida, as follows:
SECTION 1. Section 1 is hereby amended as follows:
Commercial — The term ".`commercial" shall include all commercial establishments
including but not limited to motels, hotels, office buildings;. restaurants;..recreational
vehicle parks, and all other places not classified as residential.
Residential Unit—The term "residential unit" shall include each single family home, and
each unit within a duplex, triplex, and multiple family structure, condominium,
apartment,mobile home, or trailer, or recreational vehicle parks.
SECTION 2. Repealer.
Any ordinance, or part of any ordinance, in conflict herewith is hereby repealed to the extent of
any conflict.

SECTION 3. Severability. OR BK PG
It is declared to be the intent of the City Council of the City of Zephyrhills, Florida, that if any
section, subsection, sentence, clause, or provision of this Ordinance shall be declared invalid, the
remainder of this Ordinance shall be construed as not having contained said section, subsection,
sentence, clause, or provision and shall not be affected by such holding.
SECTION 4: Effective.Date.
This Ordinance shall become:effective March 1, 2013.
